SETH MEYERS, JIMMY FALLON UNVEIL TRAILERS FOR NEW LATE-NIGHT TALK SHOWS

We are about to usher in a new era for late-night television, and NBC is at the helm of it all. Today, both Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers debuted the trailers for their upcoming late-night talk shows. Each has a different take . . .

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – A Tradition Continues
Premieres February 17th

Jimmy Fallon, took a sentimental approach to the trailer. Respecting/showcasing those that have paved the way before him (and yes, that even includes Conan O’Brien’s short run as Tonight Show host – which we may still be a little bitter about). The trailer sees the snippets of the first ever broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jack Paar, and snippets of clips throughout the years including Steve Allen and of course  Johnny Carson and Jay Leno.

Late Night w/ Seth Meyers
Premieres February 24th

The Late Night gang took a comedic route to their trailer (who would have thought?). The spot sees Seth Meyers ending a ‘Weekend Update’ broadcast with co-host Cecile Strong and explaining that even though he is leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’, he’s actually just moving down the hall. An excited Seth Meyers is about to give viewers a sneak peek of his new digs, until he realizes, the set up is not as completed as he thought.
