Summertime is always one of the best times of the year. There’s the warm weather to factor in, BBQ’s, days which seem to never end, and of course, our favourite time . . . . announcements of new Fall TV programming and we have our eyes on one particular sitcom!
Fans of ABC’s hit show ‘Happy Endings’, which was cancelled after its third season (don’t get us started, the wound is still fresh and we may not be over it) will be particularly interested in NBC’s new Fall TV sitcom ‘Marry Me’. The show stars Casey Wilson (‘The Hotwives of Orlando’, ‘Bride Wars’, ‘Happy Endings’) and Ken Marino (‘Bad Teacher’, ‘Trophy Wife’, ‘We’re Are The Millers’). Now, that’s worth watching alone!
‘Marry Me’ is described as follows (source: IMDb): After a string of botched marriage proposals, longtime couple Annie and Jake decide to put getting engaged on hold until they can get it together. Check out the official trailer for the show set to debut October 14th 9/8C on NBC.
We’re huge fans of Casey Wilson, who’s proved she’s a main player in the comedy/acting game with her time on a little live sketch comedy show called ‘Saturday Night Live’. You may have heard of it. She deserves to be a household name in the TV world and we believe having her show on a big network such as NBC will solidify her in the lead actress comedy landscape. Move over, Mindy Kaling (no disrespect cause we love you too) but there’s a new leading comedy girl on the block!
