Rumours for the theme for the upcoming fourth season of ‘American Horror Story’ has been confirmed and as it turns out; will be set in the 1950’s in a carnival of horrors theme, by writer Douglas Petrie.

Fans of the show heard rumours of the potential theme for the season, even before it was confirmed by show creator Ryan Murphy and ran with it; creating their own version of posters for the new carnival themed season. The season doesn’t have an official title as of yet, but the carnival theme will definitely be the back drop.

Check out some of the posters we’ve found online. These are done by some extremely talented fans, and are pretty damn creepy – the perfect fit for the ‘American Horror Story’ franchise.

  1. I really hope the writers do a better job of taking one or two themes and staying with them. The writing tends to become convoluted and thick in past seasons to the point where almost no one is certain what direction is being pursued. The audience isn’t sure which path to follow, and as a result, loses interest.

Keep the writing honest. Simple. Extrapolate two or three story arcs, and stay with them. Develop them.

Story telling doesn’t have to be complicated. Some of the simplest stories ever told are some of the greatest stories ever told.
