If there were doubts in anybody’s minds about another cast member leaving Saturday Night Live, Jason Sudeikis squashed them when he confirmed on Letterman, that we won’t be returning to the late night sketch comedy show.
Sudeikis has been a part of ‘SNL’ for 10 years, eight as an on-screen cast member and another two as a writer. There were talks that he wouldn’t return last year, but he stayed to play political figures for Lorne Michaels.
Sudeikis is now one of many cast members bidding farewell to the late night sketch comedy show. Other veterans that have left include Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg.
Fans of Jason Sudeikis, don’t need to fret, as the actor will be focusing on more major motion picture roles, including the new comedy ‘We’re the Millers’; starring Jennifer Aniston.
